About Kellie Peters

Kellie has called the midcoast area home for more than 25 years, living and working in coastal and inland towns and cities from Camden and Rockland on the Penobscot Bay, to the hills of Searsmont, the cities of Portland and Bath, and now the lovely little town of Nobleboro. Growing up, she was fortunate to have lived in an urban, coastal area of Florida and then a rural, mountainous area of Vermont. During college Kellie lived in Vermont, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Kellie also has enjoyed many opportunities to travel throughout Europe as well as having traveled extensively throughout the continental US and Alaska. And...after all of that traveling, the place she chose to set down roots was the coast of Maine.

After designing her own home and serving as General Contractor, Kellie and her husband built their own house, giving her a deep understanding of the structure, engineering, best materials, best practices, and high quality workmanship it takes to create a home of one’s dreams. She is able to help buyers find just the right land on which to begin their dream; find a house that perfectly meets a buyer’s needs; or to skillfully stage, price, and sell a home. She has extensive experience in home renovations and a wealth of knowledge in horticulture and landscape arrangement.

The value of community involvement means a lot to Kellie. As a longtime Knox County and now Lincoln County teacher, local business owner, former member of the Nobleboro Central School Board, member of the Nobleboro Town Budget Committee, a Maine commissioned Notary Public, member of the board of directors for Stepping Stone Housing, Inc. (a volunteer run, grass-roots, non-profit corporation that has been providing affordable, transitional and permanent housing for individuals and families in Lincoln County since 2013), former member of the board of directors for the Heartwood Regional Theater Company (promoting the theater art experience in the lives of children and adults in the community), member of: the Mountain to Shore Board of Realtors, Maine Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Vermont Association of Realtors, Maine Education Association, National Education Association, and Maine Aquaculture Association, Kellie has gained a wealth of knowledge about the people, schools, town governments, and working waterfronts that help to make the midcoast area a place she is continuously grateful to call home and to have raised her twins.

Using her well-honed skills, Kellie finds joy in both guiding clients to their dream properties as well as walking clients through the process of selling a property. She is always glad to answer questions and enjoys taking on a challenge or digging in to solve a problem.

Kellie’s experiences and skills in union negotiation, co-owning multiple successful businesses, being a published author, and as an educator for over 20 years, bring to her clients a guarantee that she is a clear & honest communicator; careful; detail-oriented; and will offer endless energy, drive, and dedication.
